Thank you for taking the time to consider us as your new faith family. Whether you are a new believer or have deep roots in church, or just seeking direction and strength in your life, here at FGCC we seek to provide a place where all are welcome.  We believe in the Word of God as contained in Holy Scripture, and in the Lordship of our Savior Jesus Christ, who lived, died and rose again and offers us the amazing gift of forgiveness, redemption and salvation. 

We know life can be challenging and strongly believe in the importance of connecting with others as we grow in our faith, find hope and strength in difficult times, and celebrate the love of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us for Sunday Worship,  sharing in God’s goodness and greatness together, and pray that you find a welcoming, loving and faith-based home with us.

Worship Services

What To Expect

We hope to create an environment for visitors that is exciting and welcoming yet not overwhelming.  Typical Service lasts 60 minutes and please dress in what clothes make you comfortable to worship.  When you arrive, you will find a large parking lot across the street and if needed you may pull up to our front door and unload any passengers that may need assistance. Take the steps or the elevator to our Lobby where you will see the entrance to the sanctuary , as well as a coffee bar and restrooms. 

As you seat yourself in the sanctuary, one of our greeters will provide a bulletin to help you follow the worship program.  For families with younger children, we offer activity bags found at the back of the sanctuary. Nursery child care is available.

What We Believe

At the heart of all sound church doctrine is the cross of Jesus Christ and the infinite privilege that redeemed sinners have in glorifying God because of what He has accomplished. Therefore, we want all that takes place in our hearts, churches, and ministries to proceed from and be related to the authentic words of God found in the Holy Bible.

Church Leadership

On May 3, 2026 a membership vote passed by 79% (66% required by bylaws) to transition the FGCC leadership structure from an Administrative Council to Shepherd Governed.

The following names were raised for consideration as Transitional Shepherd: Todd Herbert, Jennifer Nance, Brian Remmey and Beverly Whiteford. Please take the next 2 weeks to read their introductory bios, pray over these children of God and take some time to meet with, and get to know these proposed Transitional Shepherds.

Read 1 Timothy 3: 1-7, Titus 1: 5-9 and 1 Timothy 5: 19-20. Following scripture, if you find anything that would disqualify any of these people from serving as a Shepherd for our church, come to Pastor Bill, with at least one other person that shares the same concern, and discuss what you find to be disqualifying about them. If after 2 weeks there is nothing that is found to be disqualifying about these proposed Shepherds, they will be affirmed as Transitional Shepherds by our Congregation on Sunday May 31st. After serving through the period of Transition they will be brought before the church once again for full blessing and ordination as Shepherds in January of 2027.

The current FGCC Administrative Council is composed of voting and non-voting members representing various aspects of church life.
