Events CalendarBlanket Party
November 2nd from 9am-1pm in Fellowship Hall
No experience necessary as you can join us in making NO-SEW BLANKETS! Stay as long as you are able to help. Each blanket takes a little over an hour to complete with samples and demonstrations available. These warm fleece blankets are donated to Johns Hopkins, Hershey and York Cancer Units as well as to our home-bound members of our local community. If you are unable to help, this ministry also accepts monetary donations. Hope to see you there!
Leadership Breakfast Rally
November 9th from 8:30-11:30am

Kindness Week Worldwide
November 9-16th, 2024
Join FGCC in active participation in Kindness Week Worldwide. This global initiative is dedicated to promoting and spreading acts of kindness and making a positive impact in our communities locally and beyond by embracing the spirit and underlying motto to “See the Good. Be the Good. Go the Extra Mile!”.
Our Participation in Kindness Week Worldwide includes:
1. Donating new, unopened, pet toys, food, and supplies including cat litter which will be distributed to Mason Dixon Community Services and Shadow Cats TNR. Donations can be dropped off during Kindenss Week at Bark & Beyond, 39 E. Main Street, Fawn Grove during their hours of operation. Evening donations drop off will be at the VFW, located at Morris Park, 110 N. Market Street, Fawn Grove on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5PM-7PM.
2. Creating your own unique wooden ornament to share your joy, kindness and creativity with others. Recieve an undecorated ornament when dropping off your donations and share your ornament with a friend or place it on the community Christmas tree during the Christmas In The Grove Activities.

Wreath Making Workshop
November 16th from 1-4pm in Fellowship Hall
Learn how to make your own 18” wreath with live greens and take it home with you for the holiday season! Materials, instruction and snacks included. Cost is $20. Now through November 17th
Pack a shoebox with items for children in need around the world. Shoeboxes will be taken from church to a collection site and then distributed through Samaritan's Purse OCC. Shoeboxes can be brought into church anytime before November 17 or you can create a shoebox online that will be packed and shipped for you! Help us reach our goal of 100 shoeboxes and 25 online boxes.
